There are seasons and cycles in our lives. Omens of soft summer enchantment are popping up everywhere. A new season is arriving. And just when we think that the way is now and that it will be forever, another season arrives. We move with the universe laughing, learning, growing and crying along the way.
We believe that changes in the natural world refresh our spirit and arm us with high hopes that we are fully prepared to go in a new and exciting direction. We are lifted above the insanity of a frightened world with the golden opportunities that stretch endlessly before us.
Times are different now. Changing fast. Where we are going is important. On this new pilgrimage, organizations are committed to discovering, acknowledging and nurturing creativity and innovation. As they look to the world before them with discipline, energy, sweat and intelligence, countless ideas and splendid plans will follow. New ideas are opening up. It is their hope to advance the arts, businesses, and industries and a high level of services for our community.

Come with me now. As we go strolling through town let’s explore what will be happening in our great community. We will experience events, planning and ideas that will bring joy to others.
Let us enter the large, brick building that is now the Dyer Library. The library is not only a community treasure, but offers for all a generous guide to life itself. Go in. Open your mind and look around. See all the possibilities. If needed, ask for help. A wonderful, polite, cheery staff member will be there to assist you. Across the way is the Saco museum bringing back with a mystic glamour memories of times past. And bringing us stories to look at the world.
Many of us are tea drinkers. Let us drop in at Saco Parks and Recreation at the Saco Community Center on Franklin Street in Saco. We can join their great trips, events, programs, crafts, games and more.
For those who enjoy tea there is a trip to the Clipper Merchant Teahouse and experience a traditional British high tea in Bridgton, Maine! Back, Green, White, Matcha, Rooibos, Chai, Oolong, Pu-erh, Herbal: They have it, from the best Jarleeings to quality Greens to rare Pu-erhs, dated by vintage like fine wine.
They invite you to experience the depth and variety of the 108 teas from around the world. Everyone will get their own pot of tea accompanied by a variety of tea sandwiches, scones and dessert! Registration is available at the Saco Community Center.
The trip date is Thursday, April 11 from 10:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the trip fee is $30.00/members; $33/non-members.
Registration includes transportation, tea, dessert, snacks, tax and gratuity.
