SANFORD – The following people were arrested or issued a summons by Sanford Police from Jan. 18 to Jan. 27:
• An 11-year-old was issued a summons charging assault at the intersection of Riverside Avenue and Winter Street.
• Ryan Tapscott. 21, Sanford, was issued a summons charging he left the scene of an accident and drove to endanger following a property damage crash on Main Street.
• Eric Dunbar, 29, Sanford, was issued a summons charging criminal mischief following a report of a disturbance on Lebanon Street.
• John F. O’Connell, 20, Bethel, was issued a summons charging he drove after his license was suspended following a crash on High Street.
• A 17-year-old was issued a summons charging theft by misapplication of property on Sam Allen Road.
• Christopher Harmon, 20, Sanford, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence and violating conditions of release om Grammar Road
• Vicki Welch, 34, North Berwick, was arrested on a warrant on Main Street.
• John W. Carnes, 60, Acton, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Main Street and Cedar Lane.
• Deborah Jean Drew, 55, Springvale, was issued a summons charging shoplifting theft on Main Street.
