BIDDEFORD — An educational summit featuring Google for Education will be hosted on the Maine coast for educators in area schools on Aug. 7 through Aug. 9 with a series of workshops throughout the day led by highly acclaimed Google Certified Trainers and Educators.

Google Educator Certification L1 & L2 Boot Camps will be held on Aug. 6.

The goal is to provide essential training for administrators, educators, specialists and assistants/paraprofessionals to leverage GSuite for Education in their schools and communities.  Google Certified Trainers with AppsEvents, a global Google Cloud Specialized PD Partner, will lead sessions on how to use these cloud-based tools for and/or in innovative ways to engage learners to be successful in achieving competency in all areas of the curriculum.

Community members and parents are encouraged to attend as many sessions are applicable to utilizing Google in our daily lives for productivity and communication purposes. Student ambassadors will be on deck providing various levels of events support.
