WATERBORO — The Massabesic boys basketball team used a 21-7 advantage in the fourth quarter to secure a 54-41 victory over Noble on Friday night.
Trevor Beals led the Mustangs with 18 points and Owen Roberts added 15.
Noble was led by Tyler Oliver with a game-high 19 points.
Old Orchard Beach 53, North Yarmouth Academy 41
The Old Orchard Beach boys basketball team rallied from a 13-point halftime deficit to clinch the win over North Yarmouth Academy on Friday evening.
Ryan Crockett scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Seagulls. Zach LaPlante tossed in 12.
NYA was led by Te’Andre King with 16 points. King also earned a spot in the 1,000-point club after scoring in the third quarter.
Sanford 56, Biddeford 55
Leyton Bickford’s layup with two seconds remaining produced a win for the Sanford boys basketball team over Biddeford on Friday night.
Bickford finished with 22 and Matt Romano tossed in 14 for the Spartans.
Ashton Crowell and Cody Saucier each had 18 points for the Tigers.
Girls Basketball
Noble 67, Massabesic 63
The Noble girls basketball team picked up a win over Massabesic on Friday evening.
Noble was led by Amy Fleming with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Raegan Kelly chipped in 17 points.
Hannah Samson finished with 20 points, and Kenzie Ouellette and Marissa Holt each added 14 for Massabesic.
Scarborough 40, Kennebunk 35
The Kennebunk girls basketball team fell to the Red Storm on Friday night.
Alaina Schatzabel scored 14 points to lead Kennebunk. Emily Archibald added 10.
Scarborough was led by Julia Freeman with 14 points. Bella Dickinson tossed in 12.
Yarmouth 37, Wells 22
The Wells girls basketball team fell to Yarmouth on Friday evening.
Mackenzie Foss and Grace Ramsell each had six points for Wells.
Hope Olson finished with nine points and Margaret O’Neil added eight for the Clippers.
