OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Dollar General has announced that it has postponed it’s grand opening celebration in Old Orchard Beach to Feb. 2.
The discount store chain recently opened a new store at 19 Heath St., selling everyday necessities including cleaning supplies, toiletries and food.
The grand opening celebration will begin at 8 a.m. on Feb. 2. The first 100 adult shoppers will receive a $10 Dollar General gift card and the first 200 shoppers will receive a Dollar General goodie bag with complimentary product samples. Customers can also register to win a free year of shopping from Dollar General, a prize valued at $520. A complimentary lunch of hot dogs, chips and drinks will be served.
