FARMINGDALE — Hall-Dale outscored Richmond, 44-22, in the second and third quarters for a 75-36 Mountain Valley Conference boys high school basketball win on Wednesday.
The Bobcats (4-10) stayed close in the opening quarter, trailing 16-10. But, the Bulldogs ran out to a 38-23 halftime lead and extended out to a 60-32 advantage after three.
Ashtyn Abbott led all scorers with 29 points in the win and pulled in six rebounds and four steals with three blocked shots as Hall-Dale improved to 12-1. Alec Byron chipped in 17 points, with Josh Nadeau adding eight points, four steals and five assists.
Kenny Bing paced Richmond with 14 points, with Danny Stewart adding eight points and 11 rebounds. Calob Densmore pulled in 10 boards.
The Bobcats visit Monmouth on Friday at 7 p.m.
