WALDOBORO — Medomak Valley avenged an early season loss to Morse, rolling to an 85-52 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference boys high school basketball win over the Shipbuilders on Thursday.
The Panthers led 20-15, 44-27 and 68-34 at the quarter breaks, with four players scoring in double figures.
Pat McKenney led the hosts with 15 points, with Gabe Allaire and Trevor Brown each scoring 14 and Chris Bowman chipping in 13.
For Morse (3-9), Tom Warren had a game-high 17 points, while Dylan Orr added 11.
Medomak was 19-of-25 at the free-throw line, while Morse made both its chances.
The Shipbuilders host Mt. Ararat on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Joey Thomas scored 18 points and Keegan Farnham added 16 to help the Cavaliers (8-4) defeat Pine Tree Academy (3-8) at Bingham.
Thomas added five assists, and Farnham had six assists and five rebounds. Zach Walter finished with 12 points, five rebounds and four assists for Valley.
Chris Amisi had 17 points for the Breakers. Grant Milano scored 16.

The host Falcons shot lights out and rolled to a Mountain Valley Conference win at Rumford.
Mountain Valley (10-1) led 27-12, 56-26 and 77-35 at the quarter breaks in dropping Lisbon to 7-5 on the season.
Keegan Davis led all scorers with 27 points in the win, while Casey Cormier added 13, Will Bean 12 and Cooper Davis 10.
DJ Douglass drained six 3-pointers to lead Lisbon with 22 points. Corey Wiers chipped in 10.
The Greyhounds host Oak Hill on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
Girls basketball
NEWCASTLE — Lincoln Academy held Mt. Ararat without a point in the second quarter en route to a 43-22 KVAC win.
Lincoln Academy led 17-10 after a quarter, but claimed a 27-10 halftime lead as the visitors went cold.
Grace Liedman had six rebounds for Mt. Ararat, which held a 38-35 edge on the boards. Jaden Lohr picked up five caroms.
Mt. Ararat was 5-of-13 at the line, with Lincoln going 11-of-18.
Mt. Ararat (5-7) visits Morse on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

The visiting Panthers darted out to a 21-5 first-quarter lead and cruised to a KVAC win over the Shipbuilders at Bath Middle School.
Medomak Valley led 36-15 at the half and 59-28 after three.
Marija Medenica led Morse (0-12) with 12 points.
The Shipbuilders host Mt. Ararat on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
Abby Lash paced Medomak Valley with 18 points.
