BRUNSWICK — Noah Austin added to his Class A league-lead in points and goals with three goals and two assists as the Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse/Hyde Eagles defeated Marshwood/Noble/Traip/Sanford, 5-4, Thursday night at Sidney J. Watson Arena.
Austin now has 34 points (18 goals, 16 assists) as the Eagles (4-4-1) hit the halfway point of the season and ended a four-game losing streak.
Ian Struck added two goals and two assists, while Cade Charron, Brandon Durant and Noah Magda chipped in with an assist each.
Freshman goaltender Sean Moore earned his first-career varsity win, making 13 saves.
The Knighthawks (2-5) were paced by Henry Honkonen, Anthony Newton and Eli Janetos, each with a goal and an assist each.
Netminder Spencer Hammond made 23 saves in the losing effort.
The Eagles take on two-time defending State Class A champion Lewiston on Saturday at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee at 2:30 p.m.
Boys basketball
TOPSHAM — A strong third quarter powered Mt. Ararat to a 58-47 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference win over Camden Hills.
The Eagles, 5-5, held a slim 26-24 lead at the half. But, an 18-8 third quarter made for a 44-32 advantage.
Jared Balser was a force inside, scoring 32 points in the win. Austin Damon chipped in 11 points. Max Spelke ran the show and picked up several assists, while Balser and Damon each had more than 10 rebounds.
Jeremy Fraser paced the Windjammers (1-8) with 14 points, with Michael Kremin adding nine.
Mt. Ararat, which travels to Freeport on Saturday at 7 p.m., was 10-of-16 at the free-throw line, while Camden finished 11-of-17.

Wol Maiwen scored 34 points to power Edward Little (8-1) to a KVAC win over Morse at Auburn.
The Red Eddies posted quarter leads of 25-15, 46-28 and 76-49.
Max Creaser chipped in 16 in the win.
Tom Warren and Josh ter Mors each scored 20 points for the Shipbuilders, who fell to 2-7 and host Lincoln Academy on Saturday at 1 p.m.
At the free-throw line, EL was 8-of-13 and Morse 3-of-8.

The host Cougars pulled away in fourth quarter for a Mountain Valley Conference win over the Bobcats, who fell to 1-9 and hosts Telstar on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
Dirigo led 19-8, 29-21 and 40-33 at the quarter breaks.
Jeremy St. Germain led the win with 21 points, with Mateo Lapointe adding 17 and Alex Gorham eight.
For Richmond, Calob Densmore picked up 20 points and seven rebounds. Danny Stewart chipped in five points and seven boards, with Kenny Bing adding seven caroms.

Andrew Storey scored 26 points, and Logan Bagshaw got nine of his 16 points during a third-quarter for the Rangers (7-2), who went on to beat the Falcons (7-2) in Cumberland in a Western Maine Conference matchup.
Luke Gabloff added 14 points for Greely, which used a 22-6 run in the third to take a 58-42 lead.
Gabe Wagner scored 21 points and Toby Holt had 14 for Freeport, which hosts Mt. Ararat on Saturday at 7 p.m.

The Bereans used 14 points from Nick Blaisdell for a Class D South win over Pine Tree Academy in Waterville.
The Breakers (2-6) received 23 points from Chris Amisi.
Steve Kruta picked up 13 points for Temple Academy (7-3).

Girls basketball
LISBON — Hall-Dale held off a Lisbon rally for a 47-40 victory in a Mountain Valley Conference matchup.
Iris Ireland scored a game-high 15 points for Hall-Dale, with KK Wills adding 10 and Averi Baker eight.
Lisbon (1-7), which trailed at the quarter breaks 9-5, 19-18 and 29-26, was paced by nine points from Sydney Plourde, eight by Kiley Merritt and seven from Mallory Fairbanks.
The Greyhound were 7-of-13 the charity stripe, while the Bulldogs went 4-of-10.
Lisbon visits Madison on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

The host Windjammers jumped to an early lead and held in for a KVAC win over the Eagles.
Camden Hills claimed a 14-7 edge after a quarter, led 21-12 at the half and 40-27 after three quarters.
Kassie Krul paced the win with 17 points and nine rebounds, with Kaylyn Krul adding nine points.
Kyla Greenleaf led Mt. Ararat (5-5) with 12 points, followed by Theresa Breed with 10. Breed also had nine rebounds, with Grace Liedman adding seven boards. Eliza Libby and Greenleaf both had three assists.
The Eagles host Freeport on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

The Mustangs darted out to a 19-2 first-quarter lead and cruised to the MVC win over the Wolverines, who fell to 0-9 and host Dirigo on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
Kaeti Butterfield and Julia Johnson each scored 15 points for Monmouth.
Sydnie Thayer paced Wiscasset with eight points, while Jade Rego and Kateleen Trask added four points apiece. Trask had seven rebounds.
At the line, the Wolverines went 5-of-6.

Grace Fontaine registered a game-high 30 points as Edward Little cruised to a KVAC victory over Morse at Bath Middle School.
The Red Eddies’ (5-4) defensive pressure wore down the Shipbuilders (0-9) and caused several turnovers for fast-break scoring opportunities.
Hannah Chaput and Jade Perry contributed 12 points each for Edward Little.
Julia Goddard scored a team-leading 11 points on three field goals, including two 3-pointers, and 3-for-3 shooting from the free-throw line for Morse in the losing effort. Dory Kulis chipped in eight points.
The Shipbuilders visit Lincoln Academy on Saturday at 1 p.m.
