NORTH BERWICK — The Noble High girls basketball team led by 22 points at halftime and would hold off visiting Lewiston for a 55-41 win on Friday night.
Lexi Morrill led the way for Noble with 15 points. Raegan Kelly added 13 points, while Amy Fleming finished with nine points and Olivia Howard chipped in eight. Both Kelly and Howard went a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line.
Maddy Foster led Lewiston with 11 points.
Noble (4-4) will visit rival Marshwood on Thursday.
York 39, Kennebunk 34
Kennebunk outscored York 10-2 in the final quarter, but the visiting Rams were unable to complete the comeback on Friday night.
Emily Archibald led Kennebunk with 15 points.
Boys Basketball
York 67, Kennebunk 63
The host Rams would mount a fourth-quarter rally, but it wasn’t enough as they dropped their first game of the season.
York had built a 59-45 lead after three quarters. Kennebunk went on an 18-8 run in the fourth period.
Kennebunk (7-1) was led by Cam Lovejoy with 18 points and Max Murray with 17 points. Kyle Pasieniuk added 12 points in the loss.
