BRUNSWICK — Charlotte MacMillan had 15 points, six blocks, five rebounds and added three assists to lead the way for the Brunswick High School girls basketball team to a 50-35 victory over Falmouth on Friday.
The Dragons (3-0) led 31-24 at the half, but steadily pulled away in the second half in dropping the Yachtsmen to 0-3.
Logan Brown had 10 points for Brunswick. Alexis Guptil and Emily Larochelle each contributed nine points and seven rebounds for the Dragons, who visit Lewiston on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Falmouth’s Chelsea Gravier scored 17 points.

Kennebunk 61
Emily Archibald scored 26 of her 29 points in the first half and pulled down 20 rebounds for the Rams (3-0) as they beat visiting Mt. Ararat (1-2) on Friday.
Isabelle Okwuosa scored all eight of her points during the decisive first half, and Ali Weisheit hit two of her three 3-pointers and had 11 points.
Lauren Magno led Mt. Ararat with eight points, with Theresa Breed and Kyla Greenleaf adding seven points apiece for the Eagles, who visit Edward Little on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Jaden Lohr pulled down four rebounds, with Magno and Ainsley Bryant dishing out three assists each.

The host Blue Blazes received 19 points and nine rebounds from Mikayla Van Zandt in a win over the Shipbuilders on Friday.
Abby Symbol added 10 points as Westbrook (1-2) helped off Morse.
Marija Medenica led Morse (0-3) with 15 points.
The Shipbuilders visit Medomak Valley on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Boys basketball
FALMOUTH — In a battle of unbeatens on Friday, Yarmouth rolled to a 64-36 win over Brunswick, which fell to 2-1 and hosts Lewiston on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
Nik Hester collected 21 points and 11 rebounds, Mike Simonds added 14 points, for Falmouth (3-0), which dominated the second and third quarters.
Nicholas Pitre and Sam Manganello each chipped in with 11 points for the Yachtsmen, who outscored Brunswick 30-11 in the second quarter to take a 37-20 lead. Falmouth stretched its margin to 55-26 after three quarters.
Finn Mitchell scored 11 points for Brunswick.

Mt. Ararat 58
Max Murray scored 29 points to power the Rams to a road win over the Eagles on Friday.
“We couldn’t stop Murray down low,” said Mt. Ararat coach David Dubreuil, whose 0-3 Eagles host Edward Little on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Cam Lovejoy chipped 20 points for Kennebunk (3-0), which recovered from a 17-13 first-quarter deficit to lead 27-26 at the half and 48-41 after three quarters.
Nate Taylor drained six 3-pointers for the Eagles and led the way with 18 points, while Jared Balser added 13 points and Austin Damon 10.
Boys hockey
HALLOWELL — Mike Marro and Mike Eno scored in the first five minutes as Brunswick downed Cony/Hall-Dale/Monmouth, 4-0, at Camden National Bank of America Arena on Saturday.
Jacob During and Jack St. Pierre added power-play goals for the Dragons, who improved to 3-1.
Brunswick is slated to host rival Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse/Hyde at Sidney J. Watson Arena on Saturday at 4:15 p.m.
Girls hockey
FALMOUTH — Linnea Koivisto scored a hat trick and Camilla Lattanzi had three assists as Greely/Gray-New Gloucester (2-6) beat Mt. Ararat/Morse (1-5), 7-1, at Family Ice Center on Saturday.
Sawyer Dusch, Claire Stewart, Leah Walker and Jayme Morrison also scored for Greely.
Lexie Saxton scored in the third period for the Eagles, visits Yarmouth/Freeport today at Travis Roy Arena at 5:20 p.m.

Reade Carmichael scored twice and Kayla Sarazin got the go-ahead goal with 7:56 remaining as the Yachtsmen (4-1) beat the Dragons (0-6) at Family Ice Center on Saturday.
Sarah Wentworth added an insurance goal two minutes after Sarazin’s goal, and Carmichael made it 4-1 with 4:17 left.
Elena Palmer scored in the first period for Brunswick, which got 32 saves from Nadia Leiner.
