MARSHWOOD – The Biddeford girls basketball team fell to host Marshwood 76-39 on Tuesday evening.
Gracie Martin led the Tigers after scoring 17 points including the 1,000th of her career in the second quarter.
Natalie Herbold led the Hawks with 17 points and Alicia Richards chipped in 14.
Thornton Academy 39, Noble 38
Elise Hebert put up 11 points to lead the visiting Trojans to the win on Tuesday night.
Thornton Academy would also get 10 points from Alexis Sanders.
Noble was led by Raegan Kelly, who scored a game-high 17 points. Olivia Howard added 11 and Amy Fleming had nine.
Sanford 60, Deering 57
After trailing behind in the first three quarters, Sanford used a 17-11 advantage in the fourth quarter to triumph over the Rams on Tuesday night.
The Spartans were led by Paige Cote, who scored a game-high 29 points. Jillian Lizotte added 15 points.
Delaney Haines scored 24 points and Mandy Mastropasqua chipped in 17 for the Rams.
Bonny Eagle 54, Massabesic 46
The Mustangs fell to the visiting Scots on Tuesday night.
McKenzy Ouellette led Massabesic with 14 points. Madelyn Brassard chipped in 10.
Bonny Eagle was led by Samantha Averill, who scored 15 points.
Old Orchard Beach 48, Traip Academy 31
The Seagulls would get 17 points, six steals and six rebounds from Shani Plante as they picked up the win.
Maggie Strohm added seven points, eight rebounds and five blocks for Old Orchard Beach (1-1).
Boys Basketball
Kennebunk 79, Westbrook 42
The Rams rolled past Westbrook on Tuesday night.
Zach Sullivan scored a game-high 17 points for Kennebunk. Adam Lux had 15, Kyle Pasieniuk chipped in 13 and Maxwell Murray added 11 to lead the Rams.
Mike Connolly and Chuil Bayak both scored 14 points for the Blue Blazes.
Deering 62, Sanford 57
The Spartans fell to the host Deering on Tuesday night.
Leyton Bickford scored 21 points for Sanford, Chris Lantagne chipped in 12 and Carson Bickford and Matt Romano each added 11.
Deering was led by Ben Onek, who had 21 points and 13 rebounds.
Marshwood 58, Biddeford 50
Biddeford fell to Marshwood on Tuesday night.
Cody Saucier led the Tigers with a game-high 22 points.
Ian Bryant scored 14 points and Justin Bryant chipped in 11 points for the Hawks.
