SANFORD – Elks Lodge # 1470 hosts their Giving Trees program 4-8 p.m. Friday Dec. 7 and from 9 a.m. to noon on Dec. 8 at the lodge on Elm Street during Sanford’s Holly Daze celebrations. Free cocoa and cookies served. Tickets, at $5 for 25, give the purchases chances to win a favorite decorated tree or wreath, a fundraiser to support the Elks’ community programs throughout the year, organizers say.
