WAPPINGER FALLS, N.Y. — Mt. Ararat High School’s Lisandro Berry-Gaviria has qualified for the Nike Cross Country Nationals.

On Saturday at Bowdoin Park, Berry-Gaviria placed third in the Nike Cross Northeast Regional, finishing in 16:10.

The Nationals will be held in Portland, Ore., this upcoming Saturday.

Berry-Gaviria, a junior, won the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference, Class A North Regional and Maine State Championships for the second straight season earlier this month.
