BIDDEFORD — Norman E. Boisvert, age 69, of Biddeford died Monday, Nov. 12, 2018 at the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine.

He was born in Biddeford, Maine on July 3, 1949, the son of Paul Marcel Boisvert and Marie Jeanne Lorette Paquet.

Norman proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps.  Construction was his life.  He owned and operated Boisvert Construction for many years and has a passion for his work.  Norman was an officer at the Amvets Post I in Biddeford and a member of the Eagles Club in Biddeford.  In his spare time, he loved to spend time with his family.

Norman was predeceased by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife Jo Ann “Chickie” Busse Boisvert of Biddeford; his son Gary and his wife Kimberly of Biddeford; a daughter Melissa Boisvert and Pierre Patoine of Lyman; his grandchildren Cara, Grace and Drew of Biddeford, Taylor and James of Wilton, Sherman and Kaleigh of Lyman, and Parker of Lyman; his great-grandchildren James, Emma and Janie; his sisters Dorothy and Joseph Mottershead of Gorham, Joan and James Rogers of Thibodeau, Louisiana and Priscilla and Nicholas Curro of Biddeford; and several nieces and nephews.

Norman is also survived by his Aunt Claire St. Ours of Biddeford.

There are no visiting hours scheduled.  Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial graveside service on Monday, Nov. 19, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford, Maine.
