BIDDEFORD — Pauline C. Roy, 97, of Biddeford, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018 at St. Andre’s Healthcare Facility.

She was born Oct. 23, 1921 in Biddeford, a daughter of Leo P. and Clorinthe (Grenier) Courtois and was educated locally.

On Feb. 20, 1943, she married Real E. Roy, Sr. at St. Andre’s Church.

Mrs. Roy had been employed for 18 years with Pepperell Mfg. Co. and then for 23 years with John Roberts Co, retiring in 1983.  Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Real E. Roy, Sr. on Nov. 5, 2000.

She was also predeceased by siblings Richard, John, and Leo Courtois, Gabrielle Brouillette, Theresa Binette, and Rita Peloquin.

Surviving are a daughter, Linda Marston and her husband Craig of Scarborough; two sons, Real E. Roy, Jr. and his wife Leslie and Robert G. Roy and his wife Diane, all of Biddeford; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pauline’s family wishes to express their heart-felt gratitude to the staff of St. Andre’s Health Care for their compassion and care during her final days.

There will be no visiting hours. Services will be private.  Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
