WATERVILLE — Gloria Jean Mullins, 54, died unexpectedly at her home on Sept. 6, 2018.

She was the daughter of Ronald Mullins and Loretta Gray and loved her parents dearly.  Gloria grew up in Sanford with a large, loving family.  She attended Sanford High School, married Peter McAvoy and had three beautiful children and a step-daughter that she loved like her own child.

She was proud of her work at Industrial Metal Recycling, working in the billing and bookkeeping.  She went on many memorable family trips and proudly watched all her children graduate high school, get married and have children of their own.  She also was the owner of Amcomm Wireless for many years.

Gloria loved all animals and held a very special place in her heart for her dogs, Maggie and Chase, enjoyed entertaining at her wonderful home and having get togethers on her beautiful patio with family and friends and was excited to travel more and more.  She especially cherished the visits from her children and grandchildren.

Left to honor and remember her love are her children; Peter McAvoy II. his wife Heather McAvoy, Shannon High, Meagan McAvoy Hunter and her husband Bruce Hunter and step-daughter Kelly McAvoy. Also she leaves behind siblings, Tina Dale, Valerie Mitchell, Ronald Mullins, Kevin Mullins and Melisa McKee; grandchildren, Cody Short, Julia Short, Lillian McAvoy, Peter Ryan McAvoy, Houston High, Layla Hunter; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Family service will be announced at a later date.
