SOUTH PORTLAND — The Thornton Academy Golden Trojans continued their impressive start to the 2018 season as they cruised to a 50-0 win over South Portland on Friday night.
TA quarterback Kobe Gaudette would toss touchdown passes to Anthony Bracamonte and Payton Jones and he also ran for a score as the Trojans jumped out to a 35-0 halftime lead.
Julian BaileyCottle ripped off a 62-yard TD run and Bracamonte added a rushing score for the Trojans (4-0).
TA’s Isaac Ofielu carried the rock 12 times for 84 yards to lead the Trojans’ rushing attack, which finished with an incredible 342 yards on the ground.
Brady Forbes made six extra points and Michael Jordan ran in a two-point conversion after TA backup QB Hayden Pomerleau scored on a 9-yard run in the fourth.
Bonny Eagle 38, Massabesic 20
The host Mustangs hung tough against powerhouse Bonny Eagle, but the Scots would walk away with the win on Friday.
Bonny Eagle QB Zach Maturo finished with three touchdowns on the night, including a pair of rushing scores and a TD pass to Shaun Brilliant.
Will Whyte added a pair of touchdowns for Bonny Eagle, which led 14-0 after the opening quarter.
Massabesic quarterback Nick Roberge finished with 229 rushing yards and two touchdowns and added 180 yards through the air with one score. Owen Roberts hauled in a first-half touchdown from Roberge.
Noble 45, Westbrook 0
The Knights improved to 3-1 on the season with a win on Friday night.
Bryson Lessard, Matt Beerworth and David Jones ran for two touchdowns each to help the Knights continue their strong start.

Brandon Drake tossed a 15-yard TD pass to Bryce Cantin in the second quarter, which ended with the Knights up 33-0.

Lessard finished with 175 rushing yards to lead the Knights, who racked up 361 yards of total offense.
