Dom Bromiley and Nate Girardin each rushed for two touchdowns to lead the Brunswick High School football team to a 50-12 Class B North victory over Messalonskee on Friday at Colby College.

The Dragons (2-1) scored first on a 25-yard TD run from Bromiley and a 34-yard touchdown run from Mitch Lienert for a 14-0 lead after the first quarter.

Bromiley and Girardin each scored in the second quarter, and Cam Hathaway broke away for a 43-yard TD run on the final play of the half to make it 35-6.

Messalonskee fell to 0-3.

The Dragons host unbeaten Kennebunk this upcoming Friday at 7 p.m.

The host Raiders jumped out to a 27-0 halftime lead and never looked back in a Class B South battle on Saturday.

Nathan Knapp scored on two long pass plays in the opening quarter from Oscar Saunders for a 13-0 Fryeburg Academy lead.

In the second quarter, Calvin Southwick ran in from two-yards out, and Saunders scored on a 10-yard run.

Mt. Ararat found the end zone in the fourth quarter as Noah Blessington hooked up with Austin Damon for a 35-yard touchdown pass.

The Eagles are 1-2 heading into Gorham on Friday night at 6 p.m.

FREEPORT — Ally Randall scored three goals to power Freeport to an 8-0 Western Maine Conference win over Traip Academy on Saturday.

Natalie Anderson, Alexa Koenig, Hannah Groves, Tabatha Sabans and Aynslie Decker chipped in a goal each for the Falcons, who improved to 5-1 and hosts St. Dom’s on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Piper Sherbert had one save for the shutout, while Traip’s Nicole Roberts turned aside 28 shots.

Kami Lambert and Julia Reny scored to spark the Rams (5-1) to a KVAC win over the Eagles (4-2) in Topsham on Saturday.

Holly Temple scored for Mt. Ararat, which dropped its first game (5-1) and visits Messalonskee on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Paige Willis scored the winning goal with three seconds left in overtime to lift the Shipbuilders to a KVAC win at South China on Saturday.

Courtney Paine staked Erskine Academy to a 1-0 lead, but Morse answered two minutes later on an Addie Jung goal.

Morse improved to 4-1 and hosts Leavitt today at 4 p.m.

Girls soccer

ROCKLAND — Emily Martin scored with 10 minutes remaining in regulation for a 1-0 Morse lead, but Oceanside tied it with 3:52 left for a 101 stalemate in KVAC action on Friday.

After playing in goal the first half, Aislinn Slate came out and scored both goals to lead the Cobras to the Mountain Valley Conference win in North Anson.

Makayla Vicneire had an assist on each goal. Slate and Anna Quimby combined to make four saves for Carrabec (1-3-1).

Wiscasset is 0-6 and visits Winthrop today at 4 p.m.

Eliza Roy and Kris Kelly each scored for Camden Hills, while Kassie Krul dished out an assist.

Abby Sirois turned away six shots in the Mt. Ararat (3-2) cage.

The Eagles visit Oxford Hills on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

Giana Russo scored on a free kick to put an end to Hall-Dale’s second-half rally in MVC action on Lisbon on Saturday.

The Greyhounds improved to 3-1-1, while the Bulldogs fell to 3-2.

Lisbon led 3-0 at the half as Kiley Merritt scored twice and Sophia DiGregorio had a goal. Emma DiGregorio added a pair of assists, with Mackenna Poisson dishing out a helper.

Hall-Dale scored two goals early in the second half to draw within a goal, but Russo’s tally allowed the Greyhounds to hang on.

Sarah Haggerty had 19 saves in the Lisbon cage. The Greyhounds host Mt. Abram on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

Boys soccer

FREEPORT — Will Winter scored midway through the second half Friday night, giving Freeport a 2-1 victory against York in a WMC matchup of top teams on Friday.

Winter took a long pass from Cam Strong during transition and beat a defender before sending the ball into the net for the Falcons (3-0-2) against York (2-2-1).

Freeport led 1-0 at the break on Wes Goodwin’s goal off a free kick 10 minutes into the game.

York cut the lead in half on a free kick.

Atticus Patrick had five saves in the win. Gray Messersmith and Alex Neilson combined for 10 saves.

The Falcons are 3-0-2 heading into tonight’s 7 p.m. contest at Cape Elizabeth.

The visiting Mariners started quickly, but the Shipbuilders reeled off six unanswered goals for a KVAC win on Friday.

Morse improved to 1-3-1 and visits Brunswick on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.

Kolya Philbrook scored for Oceanside one minute into the game.

Morse’s Isaak Flaming scored off of a miss placed cross that beat Oceanside goalie Alec Sirois near post to make it 1-1 at 33:20 to go in the first.

Morse created and had good opportunities but it took a misplaced ball back into the center of the field to break the deadlock. Shipbuilder Christian Keenan took an attempted clear that he settled 30-yards out and blasted a shot into the net with just 1.7 seconds remaining in the half.

The Shipbuilders broke it open from there. Jacob Brochu tallied off a pass from Gavin Hanna for a 3-1 lead, and Sheamus Mann scored off a setup from Alden Harkins moments later.

Morse finished things off on a goal each Mann, assisted by Brochu, and Asa Hodgdon.

Miles Bobbe had 14 saves, while Sirois turned away 26 shots.

Camden 0

The visiting Eagles scored four second-half goals en route to a KVAC win over Camden Hills on Friday.

Mt. Ararat is 4-1 heading into this upcoming Friday’s home contest with Oxford Hills (3:30 p.m.).

Travis Nadeau scored on a penalty kick late in the first half for a 1-0 Eagles lead at the break.

In the second frame, Mason Brigham, Nadeau, Will San Pedro and Dakota Lopez added a goal each, with Ethan Rac and San Pedro earning an one assist each.

James Singleton had three saves for the win, with Windjammers netminder Matt Kremin turning aside six shots.

The Greyhounds celebrated Homecoming with an MVC win over the Phoenix on Saturday.

DJ Douglass finished a Levi Levesque setup for a 1-0 lead Greyhound lead.

Jack Tibbetts added a pair of goals for the Greyhounds, who improved to 2-3 and hosts Carrabec on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

The Bobcats exploded for five second-half goals en route to an E-WC win over Valley on Friday.

In the home opener for Richmond (4-1),  the hosts grabbed a 1-0 halftime lead on a Justin Vachon goal from Nick Adams.

Dakotah Gilpatric added a pair of goals to open the second frame, and Dan Stewart, Andrew Vachon and Adams picked up a goal each. Adams finished with three assists, with Ben Gardner and Gilpatric adding one helper each.

Kyle Tilton and Logan Bickford combined on two saves in the Richmond cage, while Keegan Farnham had 12 saves for Valley (1-4).

Richmond hosts Buckfield on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Wiscasset/Boothbay earned its second straight MVC win, downing the Cobras on Saturday.

Matt Chapman tallied three goals, while Rowan Kristain had two. Chance Blogdon, Tim Chappelle and Jordan Espuet had an assist each.

Caleb Gabriele and L.J. Travers combined on three saves in the Wolverine cage.

Wiscasset/Boothbay visits Oak Hill on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
