ARUNDEL — Keith R. Burgie, Sr., 59, of Arundel, died on July 17, 2018, of pancreatic cancer, peacefully at home with loving family by his side.
Born Oct. 31, 1958, in Hartford, Connecticut, son of Edward and Virginia “Ginny” (née Parent).
Keith wed Marie Tucci of Medford, Massachusetts and raised two children, Keith, Jr., and Nicole. Proud owner of H&B Concrete Foundations, Keith enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, dirt-biking, boating and skiing. Most of all, he enjoyed quality time with family and friends, who remember his extraordinary kindness, generosity, and ability to make us laugh every day.
He is survived by his wife, Marie, of 34 years; children Keith, Jr. (partner Zoe Moyer), Nicole Rideout (spouse Aaron and child Eliza), and Matthew Bartkowski (children Morgan and Zachary); siblings David, Kevin (partner Deborah McCarthy), Cindy Peluso (spouse Paul), Brenda Vannier, Andy (spouse Shirley); and many other family members and friends he held near and dear.
Visiting hours are 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 22 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, Maine. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 23, at St. Joseph Church, 178 Elm St., burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 530 Elm St., luncheon at St. Joseph Church.
