I do not have the reputation of being sharp as a tack, but my inner spiritual being has been pricked this week. I see such a contrast around me.
Worldwide, attention was focused on the rescue of the Thai soccer team and their coach. How wonderful for the concern and prayer and help that were exerted to save their lives. I praise the Lord for their rescue and safety.
What has troubled me is the energy exerted by many in this world to give women the right to take the lives of their babies growing within them.
This is a conundrum. Why not the same concern, worldwide, to save babes in the womb as it was to save the lives of the 13 in the cave?
All life is a gift from God, our creator. God has a limit on his tolerance of evil. God help us to respect human life and to respect him.
