SACO — Lorraine D. Austin, 88, of Saco passed away peacefully at Seal Rock Healthcare on June 28, 2018.
She was born in Biddeford on Jan. 16, 1930, a daughter to the late Joseph and Aurize (Charette) Dubois.
Lorraine received her education through St. Andre’s and Thornton Academy. She married the love of her life, Maurice L. Austin, on Sept. 3, 1949. She was not only a loving wife and mother but also a hard working woman, dedicated and loyal to Components/Corning/ AVX until retiring in 1990.
Lorraine is survived by her granddaughter, Lynn Lessard and her husband Robert, her great-granddaughter, Theresa Lessard and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice on March 10, 2016, her son Glenn Austin and her two brothers Alban and Norman Dubois.
Services are private. She is buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery next to her husband Maurice.
