BIDDEFORD — Yvette St. Onge, 94, of Biddeford, died Sunday, July 1, 2018 at her home.
She was born Feb. 1, 1924 in Biddeford a daughter of Ernest and Elise (Lizotte) Nolette and was educated at St. Joseph’s School.
On Sept. 6, 1948 she married Edward St. Onge in St. Andre’s Church. She worked several years at the Pepperell Manufacturing Co. and several years at Saco Tanning. She worked for three years at the Maremont Corp. retiring in 1982.
Yvette was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion Auxiliaries. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Yvette was predeceased by Edward, her husband of 43 years in 1991, and by a granddaughter Michelle Gobeil in 2005, and by five brothers; Leo, Roger, Conrad, Bruno and Donald.
She is survived by a daughter, Priscille Gobeil and her husband Roland of Biddeford; two sons, Richard St. Onge and his wife Susan of Saco and Donald St. Onge and his wife Barbara of Biddeford; two brothers, Maurice of Biddeford and Ralph of Biddeford; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday July 6 at Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Biddeford.
