WISCASSET — The 66th Strawberry Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Philip’s Church, located at 12 Hodge St.
Strawberries will rule the day, with shortcake and other tasty treats available. The bargain basement will be open for shopping, a pie auction will take place at noon, followed by Zumba at 1 p. m. and live music throughout the day.
Also coming up this summer will be several suppers. Bean and casserole suppers will take place Mondays — July 16 and 30 — and a fish chowder supper is set for Aug. 13. The hours for all the dinners will be from 5: 30- 7 p. m., with the charge by donation. All proceeds go to support the church and its missions of community outreach.
