BRUNSWICK — Three members of the Bowdoin College men’s lacrosse program have been recognized in Division
III All-American honors announced by the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.
Senior Matthew Crowell was named a Second Team All-American, while senior Parker Sessions was tabbed as a Third Team All-American.
Junior Sam Carlin was chosen as an Honorable Mention All-American selection.
Crowell sparked the Bowdoin offense by leading the team with 25 goals this spring. He finished his career with 98 goals, 25 assists and 123 career points.
A stellar defender, Sessions led the Polar Bears in caused turnovers (17) and ranked fourth on the team with 24 ground balls.
An outstanding faceoff specialist, Carlin won 197-of-327 faceoffs this spring (.602), collected a NESCAC-best 122 ground balls and netted four goals, including a last-second game-winner at Bates.
