The rejuvenated Maine Art Gallery Wiscasset seeks art lovers who would like to volunteer their time to introduce gallery visitors to the work of local artists.
Located in the historic Wiscasset Academy, the gallery offers a bright, open space for viewing art as well as an enjoyable space to spend an afternoon.
The Maine Art Gallery is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and preservation of painting, sculpture and graphic arts through exhibitions, lectures, demonstrations, and educational programs for children and adults.
Anyone who wishes to be a volunteer gallery manager should contact Jorge Pena at (207) 882-4155 or jepena@ufl.edu.
The gallery is located at 15 Warren St.
