BIDDEFORD — Jacques and Yvette D. Pelletier of Biddeford are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a private family dinner on May 18.
This year, both Jacques and Yvette are also celebrating their 70th birthdays.
Yvette Guillereault and Jacques Pelletier started their courtship in the early 1960s and were married on May 18, 1968, at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford.
They have continued to live in Biddeford at their family home and are both retired. Yvette volunteers at St. Joseph Church for the reception luncheons. They both enjoy cruising the coast with their antique car on beautiful days.
The Pelletier’s have two children, Jacques Pelletier Jr. and Jacqueline V. (Pelletier) Jordan; four grandchildren, Andrew D. Pelletier, Jason L. Pelletier, Jeffrey Littlefield and Asa X. Jordan; and two great-grandchildren, Christian Pelletier and Luke Littlefield.
The children and grandchildren would like to thank Jacques and Yvette for everything they have done for them as a family and individually and say they couldn’t have asked for better role models in their lives.
“Through it all, you have kept our family strong and thriving. We love you very much and hope for many more years of happiness for you both.”
