BIDDEFORD — Marc Gosselin, 70, of Biddeford died on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.

He was born on Feb. 3, 1948 to Raymond Joseph and Clarina Marie (Dussault) Gosselin in Biddeford. He graduated from Biddeford High School, Class of 1968.

He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. When he returned home, he went to work for his father as a mason at RJ Gosselin and Sons, Inc. He then went on to work for his brother, Dennis. After that, he worked for Precision Screw in Biddeford. Because of his love of animals, he worked at a veterinary clinic while he was in high school. He enjoyed fishing and all things art, especially drawing. He was an avid reader and when he wasn’t reading, he could be found working around the shop on one of his many repair or small projects.

Marc is survived by six siblings, Raymond Gosselin and his wife Jane of Biddeford, Dennis Gosselin of Biddeford, Susan Gosselin of Shapleigh, Luc Gosselin and his wife Songcha of Berryville, Virginia,    Guy Gosselin of North Adams, Massachusetts and Jeffrey Gosselin of Portsmouth, New Hampshire; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford.  Burial will be on Tuesday, May 15 at 11 a.m. in Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale.
