Coach’s outlook: The Tigers will be taking the jump down to Class B in their ninth season as a varsity sport among the ranks of some of the best programs in the state like Yarmouth, York and Cape Elizabeth. The class is a 14 team state wide class but the Tigers hope to finish in the first half come June. Although, still affiliated with the SMAA they will be playing primarily Class A schools and look to improve their record from last season’s program best 9-3 record.
The Tigers return all but one starter from last year’s squad including Peyton McKeown (SMAA 1st Team), Paige Laverriere (SMAA 1st Team), Serena Speight (SMAA 1st Team), Hailey Allen (SMAA 2nd Team), Grace Boisvert (SMAA 2nd Team) and Megan Mourmouras (SMAA All-Rookie Team). After making some defensive changes and with the help of some strong senior leadership the team looks to be very competitive and push for a late playoff birth.

They are working very hard to bring our younger players up to speed and teach them the work ethic needed to be successful on the field and in the classroom. We have had teams in the past that love the game stage. This one is special, they love to practice. It is obvious that daily improvement is their common goal.
