Arrests
4/14 at 11:40 p.m. Jacob Reno, 19, of Fiddlers Reach Road, Phippsburg, was arrested by Officer Donald Cowles on Topsham Fair Mall Road on a charge of operating under the influence.
Summonses
4/11 around noon. Aran Weld, 31, of Campbell Pond Road, West Bath, was issued a summons by Officer William Collins in Lisbon on a charge of leaving the scene of a property damage accident on Lewiston Road. Weld had been arrested by Lisbon Police on a related charge of operating under the influence.
Batch of burglaries
4/15 at 12:03 p.m. Officer Lucas Shirland responded to the report of a burglary that had occurred at the American Legion headquarters on Foreside Road earlier that day. Entry had been forced through the front door, with attempted entry to the safe, but nothing was found stolen. Officer Randy Cook responded to a residential burglary the next day at 12:04 p.m. on Beechwood Drive, in which entry was forced through a bathroom window, and jewelry and other items were stolen. In a third case, Shirland on April 16 at 12:47 p.m. responded to the burglary of a Trenton Place residence, at which entry was gained through an unlocked rear door; it is unknown whether anything was stolen. Police are looking into any similarities between the three cases.
