I strongly applaud the U.K. for banning imports of elephant tusks.
This senseless killing of innocent, peaceful, docile animals must stop now. The U.S. has never, and will never, step up to the plate on that issue.
Over 20,000 elephants are slaughtered each year for human profit. This is wrong. Our Republican president, Donald Trump, doesn’t care who lives or dies. His eldest son is an elephant killer. Trump’s advisory committee on wildlife has 16 members, and at least 10 of them are advocates of wildlife hunting. This slaughter will continue.
Also, with everything else, including climate change, I implore all Republicans to write to the president they elected, to see if by some miracle he will do something positive for our country, and all animals.
