MORSE HIGH SCHOOL sophomore Sarah Weidner’s painting of a girl with wolves is part of the annual student art exhibition at Patten Free Library in Bath.

AT LEFT, this pointillist drawing of eye was created by Morse High School junior Hannah Card. The library is hosting its annual student art show through Friday, April 28. Th exhibition will open Wednesday in Patten’s second floor community room, with a reception set for 5-6 p.m. Friday, April 6. On display will be a variety of media contributed by artists in RSU 1 schools, grades seven through 12. The art show is a project of the library’s Teen Library Council; the goal is to celebrate the end of winter by showcasing local artistic talent. The exhibition is free and open to the public during regular library hours.
