COACH OF THE YEAR

Tony DeMuro, Mt. Desert Island: The Trojans lost by 29 points to defending state champ Ellsworth in a December dual meet, and again by a point in their conference meet. But at the state meet, MDI surged past the Eagles to win the Class B title, 343-326.5.
