Julia Bisson, Greely junior: Bisson won the Class B diving championship with a score of 396.30 points. Her season included a school record 259.25 points for six dives, as well as a Southwesterns meet record of 406.70 (for 11 dives).

Hannah Griffin, Scarborough senior: Griffin won the Class A 200-yard individual medley by nearly five seconds, in 2:11.58. She also placed second in the 50 free and anchored the winning 400 free and runner-up 200 free relays. She ranked among the top 10 in the state in five events.

Cecilia Guadalupi, Cony sophomore: For the second year in a row, Guadalupi helped the Rams successfully defend their championship. She won the 50 free (24.75) and 500 free (5:12.43) and swam on the winning 200 medley and 400 free relays.

Haily Harper, Morse sophomore: Harper won the Class B 100 breast stroke in 1:07.82 – fastest in the state by more than a second. She also placed third in the 200 IM, swam on the winning 200 medley relay and contributed to the runner-up 200 free relay.

Olivia Harper, Morse sophomore: Harper set a state record winning the Class B 100 backstroke, lowering her own mark to 54.64 seconds. She also won the 100 butterfly in 56.35, was on the winning 200 medley relay and swam on the runner-up 200 free relay.

Alicia Lawrence, Cape Elizabeth sophomore: Lawrence won the Class B 50 free in 23.79 – fastest in the state this winter. She also placed second in the 100 free (52.28) and swam on the winning 200 free and 400 free relays to help Cape successfully defend its state title.

Gabby Low, Cony junior: Low was named Performer of the Meet in Class A after winning the 100 backstroke (meet-record 56.28) and the 100 butterfly (state-best 55.38) by five seconds. She also swam on winning 200 medley and 200 free relays.

Caroline Mahoney, Cape Elizabeth sophomore: Mahoney won the 200 free by five seconds (1:53.67) and was second in the 100 back. She also swam on winning 200 and 400 free relays. She was Performer of the Meet at North Southwesterns after setting a pool record of 56.40 in the 100 back.

Ava Sealander, George Stevens Academy junior: Sealander won the Class B 200 IM in 2:09.89. She also swam 56.50 in the 100 butterfly, finishing second to state record-holder Olivia Harper. Sealander’s times ranked among the state’s top seven in four events.

Olivia Tighe, Cape Elizabeth junior: Performer of the Meet in Class B for the second year in a row, Tighe set a state record of 50.23 in the 100 free and won the 500 free in a time (5:03.21) that would have won the Class B boys’ meet. She also anchored winning 200 and 400 free relays.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Ben Raymond, Cape Elizabeth: The Capers clawed back against a formidable Greely squad to win their second straight Class B title. It was Raymond’s fourth state championship in 12 years as head coach, despite losing two top-tier performers to club swimming this season.
