CUMBERLAND — The School Administrative District 51 Board of Directors postponed its March 19 meeting to March 26.

The district’s draft fiscal 2019 budget, originally to be presented Monday, will instead be presented next week. The board is also due March 26 to conduct a second reading of the 2018-2019 calendar.

The meeting was moved out of concern the nine-member panel would not have the required five-member minimum attendance required to establish a quorum, Superintendent Jeff Porter explained Monday.

Next Monday’s meeting will be held in the Greely High School library at 7 p.m., following a 5:30 p.m. Policy Committee meeting. A budget workshop will be held in the GHS library at 6 p.m. Monday, April 2.
