FALMOUTH — Artists and crafters are invited to submit an original piece to the Falmouth Memorial Library’s upcoming Beauty and the Books Silent Auction. This fundraiser helps support the library’s annual operating costs.

Beauty and the Books runs March 5-29 and throughout the month people can view the items available and place bids. The highest bidder on each item wins.

All items must be handmade by the donor, although prints of original works will also be accepted. All items submitted to the auction must have a minimum value of $25, but donors are also encouraged to suggest a minimum bid amount.
