Sanford would take a 29-24 lead into halftime and a 47-41 lead into the fourth quarter. The Rams battled back, however, Leyton Bickford would take control later and post nine points in the fourth to drive the Spartans to the win.
Bickford led the way with a game-high 20 points while teammate C.J. Lantagne added 14 in the win.
Cam Lovejoy led the Rams with 17 points while Zack Sullivan chipped in 16 and Kyle Pasieniuk 12.
Biddeford 65, Noble 42
The Tigers topped Noble on Tuesday for their ninth win in a row. Biddeford improves to 14-3, which is only the fourth time since 1960 that the Tigers have won 14 regular season games.
Kyle Norton led the way with a game-high 22 points wile Jerome Criado added 11 and DeSean Cromwell nine.
Luke Carlock led Noble with 12 points Adam Boucher added 10.
Girls Basketball
Noble 64, Biddeford 60
The Knights held off a late Biddeford surge to top the Tigers on Tuesday.
Noble took an 18-point lead into the fourth quarter, but Biddeford would catch fire and pull within four points to pressure the Knights. However, Noble would hold up in the final minutes to put away the win.
Tori Exel led the Knights with 24 points while Raegan Kelly added 16 and Amy Fleming 15.
Gracie Martin led Biddeford with a game-high 34 points while Charlie Yoho chipped in 12 and Azure Illiano 10.
Bonny Eagle 47, Massabesic 32
The Scots cruised to a big win over Massabesic on Tuesday night.
Taylor Ouellette led Massabesic with 18 points in the loss.
Old Orchard Beach 42, Traip 30
The Lady Gulls earned their 14th win of the year with a victory over Traip on Tuesday.
Shani Plante led the way with 15 points while Meg LaPlante added 11 points and 10 rebounds. Bri Plante also chipped in nine points and five assists in the win.
Scarborough 57, Thornton Academy 32
The Red Storm cruised to a win over Thornton Academy on Tuesday.
Alex Hart led the Trojans with a game-high 19 points in the loss.
