FALMOUTH — A school bus carrying nine teenagers was rear-ended on Winn Road Wednesday morning, Jan. 24, but none of the students were injured, according to a press release from the Police Department.

The students on the bus ranged in age from 13-17, Lt. John Kilbride said. The bus, which was coming to a stop to pick up a student, was hit from behind by a car driven by Kristen Adams, 35, of North Yarmouth.

Kilbride said Adams “was distracted … and road conditions were classified as slippery from (black) ice.”

He said Adams was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries and the bus continued on its way to Falmouth High School.
