She was born in Saco on Feb. 1, 1926, a daughter of Alfred and Georgianna (Poulin) Berry.
Theresa was employed by Saco Defense for 20 years, retiring in 1986.
She was a volunteer at Southern Maine Medical Center for 25 years. She was also active with the Presentation of Mary in Hudson, New Hampshire and the Ledgewood Apartment Seniors.
Her hobbies included dancing, arts and crafts, crocheting and word search puzzles. She followed the Thornton Academy Golden Trojans and the New England Patriots. Theresa enjoyed attending Foxborough games, regardless of the weather.
Most of all, Theresa loved her friends, their daily meetings at Lucky Loggers, her cat Sweetie and mostly her family. She cherished the time they spent together. The family has created many special memories together that will never be forgotten. She will be sadly missed.
She was predeceased by her husband Alcime in September 1987 and by several sisters.
She is survived by her son Ronald A. Fournier and his companion Karen of Saco; two daughters Ann Marie Guay and her husband Normand of East Waterboro and Debra Ferante and her husband Ralph of Portland. She is also survived by seven granddaughters Angela, Michelle, Pamela, Stacey, Stephanie, Jill and Ashley; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hour will be from 4 to p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St., Saco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco.
