He was born August 1, 1932 in Biddeford, a son of George and Yvonne (Thibodeau) Guillerault and was educated in local schools.
Mr. Guillerault served with the US Army.
On July 30, 1960, he married Jeannette Beaupre at St. Andre’s Church.
Mr. Guillerault was employed as a truck driver. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 340, having worked for Fox & Ginn and St. Johnsbury Trucking; he retired from Red Star Express after a career spanning 43 years.
What he loved above all was his adoring family and bringing a smile to their faces. His welcoming spirit was palpable. He could often be found playing a tune on his harmonica and would certainly play more than one when an encore was requested. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and was especially fond of the time he spent playing pool and bowling with his son, Gerald. His kind spirit will certainly continue to live on through his two daughters, Carmen and Denise.
Preceding him in death were a son, Gerald Guillerault in 2008, a great grandson, Brady, in 2006, three brothers. Leo, Paul and Donald Guillerault and three sisters, Jeannette Bergeron, Germaine Caron and Marie Anne Guillerault.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years Jeannette Guillerault of Biddeford; two daughters Denise Gagnon and her husband David of Biddeford and Carmen Cyr and her husband Brent of Saco; five grandchildren Joel Gagnon and his wife Sarah, Jeffrey Gagnon and his wife Autumn, Amanda Milliard and her husband Tom, Nathaniel Cyr and Claire Guillerault; four great-grandchildren Amelia, Eleanor, Addelyn and Lily; and one daughter-in-law Debra Guillerault of Saco.
Visiting Hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford at a later date.
