BIDDEFORD — The Biddeford girls basketball team improved to 2-3 on the season as the Tigers rallied for a 45-40 win over visiting Mt. Ararat on Saturday.
Mt. Ararat held a 27-22 lead at halftime, but the host Tigers would use a 14-5 third-quarter run to take the lead. Biddeford outscored the Eagles 9-8 in the fourth quarter.
Gracie Martin led the way for Biddeford with 27 points. Azure Illiano had eight points and both Meg Mourmouras and Charli Yoho had four points in the win.
Mt. Ararat was led by Ainsley Bryant with nine points and Lauren Magno added eight points.
