TOPSHAM — Staff at Down East Credit Union & Insurance Agency in Topsham helped make Thanksgiving more satisfying for two families in need.
Staff members donated food to create two large baskets filled with all the makings of a Thanksgiving dinner, plus two $95 gift cards for any additional groceries they might need.
“Our team members work year-around to raise awareness of hunger in Maine and generously give back to area food pantries,” said Topsham DECU branch manager Lisa Pelletier. “We partnered with the Bowdoinham Community School, which was kind enough to select and distribute the baskets to two families. It made our holiday brighter knowing we helped others have a Happy Thanksgiving.”
