WELLS — The Wells Reserve at Laudholm will recap accomplishments and look ahead to 2018 during its annual members’ meeting on Dec. 6 at 5 p.m. in Mather Auditorium, 342 Laudholm Farm Road in Wells. The public is welcome to attend. At the meeting, members of Laudholm Trust will vote on changes to the organization’s Articles of Incorporation. More information is available at wellsreserve.org or 646-1555.

Through their annual contributions, members of the nonprofit Laudholm Trust help support research, education, and conservation at the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve, while ensuring the upkeep of its historic Laudholm campus and 7-mile trail system. This local support, combined with funding from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, keeps the Wells Reserve open and involved in vital conservation work in southern Maine’s coastal communities.
