The Maine Red Claws cut ties with their two remaining holdovers from last season’s Atlantic Division championship squad, waiving Malcolm Miller and Asauhn Dixon-Tatum Tuesday to trim its G League roster in advance of Friday night’s opening game.

The Red Claws plan to dress 12 players when they take on Delaware Friday night at the Portland Expo, including guards Jabari Bird and Kadeem Allen, both taken late in the second round of the June NBA draft and signed by the Celtics to two-way contracts.

The rest of the Red Claws backcourt consists of Daniel Dixon (who took part in Celtics training camp), Trey Davis and Jerome Seagears. Both Davis and Seagears signed after tryout camps.

At forward are Andrew White, L.J. Peak, Devin Williams, Jon Holmes, Drew Barham and Josh Adeyeye. White and Peak were in camp with Boston. Williams and Holmes played in the G League last season. Barham and Adeyeye came from tryout camps.

The lone center is Daniel Ochefu, a member of Villanova’s 2016 NCAA championship squad who played 19 games for the Washington Wizards last winter. None of the three G League draft picks invited to Claws training camp made the final roster.
