SACO — The Thornton Academy field hockey team picked up a 5-1 win over Bonny Eagle on Friday.

Taylor Oullette led TA with four goals while Olivia Lambert scored the other. Cat Henaire tallied three assists on the day.

Freshman goalie Madison Vachon recorded six saves for TA.

SANFORD 3, NOBLE 0

The Spartans shut out the Knights, getting no the board early with a goal from Kyleigh Cote less than two minutes into action.

Alyssa Simpson recorded Sanford next goal less than 10 minutes later, and Cote would get her second goal of the game with 3:10 left in the game to secure the win. Amber Singleton racked up seven saves for Sanford.
