In celebration of grandmothers, Anna B.’s Barn Shop is holding a contest to find the most unique Grandmother story. All are welcome to enter on a four by six-inch index card with a paragraph on why their grandmother is unforgettable. All entries will be featured in the Shop on the inside of the barn door. Entries will be accepted until Sept. 1.
Stories can be dropped off at the shop Thursday-Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., or they can be mailed to Anna B.’s, 6 Parker Head Rd., Phippsburg, ME 04562.
Gift certificates to the shop will be awarded to three winners on Grandparents Day, Sept. 10. Contest winners do not need to be present and all three winners will be notified. Call (207) 632-7101 with any questions regarding the grandmother contest or for directions to the shop.
