THE HARLOW GALLERY invites artists to submit work for “POW!,” a juried comic book-themed show, on view Sept. 8 – Oct. 21. The deadline for email entries is 11 p.m. on Aug. 1.

HALLOWELL

The Harlow Gallery invites artists working in the comic book industry and artists inspired by comic book art and themes to submit work to be considered for POW!, a juried art show on view Sept. 8 through Oct. 21. The deadline for email submissions is 11 p.m. Aug. 1.

Eligibility & Criteria: Submissions are welcome from artists, pencillers, inkers and letterers, including original pages, panels, splash pages and cover art. Fan art and fine art inspired by comics are welcome, and all media are welcome, including sculpture, photography, fine art and fine crafts. High quality printouts of digital art may be submitted, but reproductions of original art are not eligible. Artists submitting from out of state are responsible for the costs of shipping work to and from the Harlow. Return shipping will be actual cost plus $20.
