MaineVoices Live is an event series featuring conversations between Press Herald reporters and notable Maine voices.
Join us on June 6 as we welcome Zachary Fowler, the boatbuilder from Appleton, Maine who survived 87 days in the Patagonia region of South America to earn the $500,000 grand prize on this season’s “Alone” series on the History Channel. Press Herald reporter and social media editor, Jim Patrick, will lead the conversation as we hear first hand stories from Zach about what it was like to be alone in the wilderness, surviving on eating 53 fish, 2 birds, dandelion roots and large grubs, and coming back home to Maine.
