TOPSHAM — Nicole Bradstreet was 6 for 6 from the foul line in the fourth quarter and Mt. Ararat went 13 for 18 from the line in the quarter on its way to a 37-30 win over Morse in a girls’ basketball game Monday.
Bradstreet finished with 13 points. Mt. Ararat (2-7) scored 22 points from the line.
Marissa Parks led the Shipbuilders (4-9) with nine points.
PINE TREE 50, SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 23: Alex Goodman had 29 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Breakers (4-2) past Seacoast Christian (2-6) in Freeport.
Abigail Wirling led the Guardians with 11 points.
SCARBOROUGH 53, PORTLAND 35: Sophie Glidden scored seven of her 17 points during the first quarter as the Red Storm (7-0) jumped to a 19-8 lead over the Bulldogs (0-10) in Portland.
Lindsey Kelley and Brooke Malone finished with 11 points for the Red Storm.
BOYS’ BASKETBALL
LAKE REGION 65, ST. DOMINIC 13: Luke Neal scored seven points in the first quarter, and Ethan Chadwick added six, as the Lakers (3-5) raced to a 21-4 lead over the Saints (0-8) in Naples.
Neal finished with 17 points and Mark Mayo had 12.
HALL-DALE 50, BOOTHBAY 48: Alec Byron sank a pair of free throws in the final seconds to give the Bulldogs (6-2) a come-from-behind victory over the Seahawks (5-4) in Boothbay Harbor.
Jett Boyer led Hall-Dale with 12 points, with Tyler Nadeau adding 11.
Carter Babcock and Alex Smith scored 16 each for Boothbay.
SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 52, PINE TREE 32: Marlon Bernardo scored eight of his 13 points in the fourth quarter as the Guardians (5-4) doubled their lead and beat the Breakers (2-4) in Freeport.
Sky Archer led Seacoast Christian with 15 points, and Jet Archer added 11.
Najee Jean-Louis and Alexander Schlisner led the Breakers with 12 and 11 points.
BOYS’ HOCKEY
CAPE ELIZABETH 3, BRUNSWICK 0: Phil Tarling had a goal and an assist as the Capers (2-3) beat the Dragons (2-4-1) in Brunswick.
Ryan Collins and Jackson Woods also scored for Cape, and Peter Haber had 21 saves.
Riley Kirk made 22 saves for Brunswick.
