Verrill Dana recently hired Cecilie MacIntyre to the firm’s health care group as counsel in its Portland office.
MacIntyre most recently served as an assistant chief counsel at the California Department of Managed Health Care.

Verrill Dana was recently honored with the Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project Pro Bono Award for donating the most hours on VLP cases of any law firm in Maine.

Five Verrill Dana attorneys were recognized for their skill as litigators in Benchmark Litigation’s 2017 edition.
The attorneys recognized were: Scott Anderson, Karen Frink Wolf, Martha Gaythwaite, A. Robert Ruesch, Timothy Shannon and Rachel Wertheimer.
Frink Wolf and Gaythwaite were named to the list of “Top 250 Women in Litigation.”
Benchmark Litigation also ranked Verrill Dana as a “Highly
Recommended Firm” in Maine, the highest firm ranking possible.
Verrill Dana announced that 14 of its attorneys were recognized at the 2016 Maine Supreme Judicial Court Katahdin Council Recognition event at the Cumberland County Courthouse for completing 50 or more hours of pro bono service in the previous year.
