Jalen Jones scored 29 points, and the Maine Red Claws rode a 7-0 run at the start of overtime to a 124-121 victory over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Thursday night at Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Marcus Georges-Hunt added 28 points and Coron Williams scored 22 for Maine (8-3), which rallied from a 16-point second-half deficit.
Jones’ jumper on the first shot of overtime gave Maine its first lead at 116-114. Damion Lee followed with a bucket and Arthur Edwards added a 3-pointer with 1:35 remaining.
Fort Wayne (7-2) led 63-55 at halftime and opened the third with a 13-5 run. The Red Claws fought back to make it an eight-point game going into the fourth and pulled even at 114 on a pair of free throws from Georges-Hunt with 30 seconds remaining.
The Red Claws got a defensive stop and had a chance to win in regulation, but a floater from Williams rimmed out at the buzzer.
